Love from some of my students

"Blown away. Abi is the most inspiring,

passionate, knowledgeable, generous, and experienced teacher.

- Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai

Internationally best-selling author of

The Mountains Sing and Dust Child.

"Abi's mentorship had the perfect blend of compassion and accountability, a necessary duality when one aims to turn artistic expression into a public-facing creation.

With her guidance, I re-embraced the rawness of writing and gained a new perspective on the practice of revision."

- Eniitan

"Working with Abi took my writing to the next level. Her knowledge, patience and professionalism ensured I left every session feeling like I had gained wisdom. Abi was able to deliver constructive criticism with so much humour that I laughed almost as much as I learned. She is a talented teacher and I highly recommend her sessions for writers at all levels"

About Abi Daré

NYT Bestselling Author & Internationally Acclaimed Writing Coach

I know how it feels to pour your heart into a manuscript, only to be met with silence or rejection. It’s frustrating, discouraging, and sometimes heartbreaking. I’ve been there too. But I also know that every rejection can be a stepping stone toward success, and I want to help you navigate that journey with confidence.

I’ve sold over 500,000 copies of my debut novel, and it has been translated into 23 languages. I’ve had the honour of teaching at Harvard, Manchester Met, The Women’s Prize Workshops, Curtis Brown Creative, and The Guardian Masterclasses.

I’ve also served as a judge for major literary prizes, and my books have been recommended by Malala Yousafzai and Dolly Parton. Along the way, I’ve received three starred reviews from Publishers Weekly , Booklist and Kirkus for my novel And So I Roar, and over 200,000 readers have rated my books four stars or higher.

Now, I want to share everything I’ve learnt with you, so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Writing a book is hard, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s take your writing to the next level together.

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1:  Who is this programme for?

This programme is for writers who are serious about leveling up. Beginners and those aiming to go pro are all welcome.

Question 2: What can I expect from working with a writing coach?

You’ll get clarity, structure, and accountability. I’ll show you what’s working, what’s not, and how to improve. You’ll get honest feedback, practical tools, and the support you need to move forward with purpose.

Question 3: How is this different from an editor or a writing course?

An editor focuses on the final product. A course gives you information. I work with you directly to build skills, improve your process, and keep you moving. I’ve coached hundreds of writers and bring that experience to every session. If you would like to enrol on my course on writing, please check out my courses on www.loudingvoiceacademy.com

Question 4: Do I need a finished draft to start?

No. You can start with an idea, a few messy pages, or a half-written draft. I meet you where you are and help you move your project forward, step by step.

Question 5: Do you accept all writers?

I wish. I’d love to work with every writer who reaches out, but I can’t take everyone on for my one-on-one coaching due to time and fit. Still, there’s always something available for everyone. You can join my courses, the waiting list for group coaching, or an upcoming retreat. No matter where you are on your journey, there’s a place for you here.

Question 6: Will I get a six-figure deal?

It’d be the dream, wouldn’t it? A few of my writers have gone on to sign amazing deals, and I am SO proud of them. Every journey is different, and it all starts with writing the best book you can, and that’s what I’m here to help you :-).

Question 7: Do you work with non-fiction writers?

Yes, absolutely. A large number of my clients write nonfiction. I especially love helping writers find the story within the message they want to share with the world. That’s where the magic—and the connection—really begins.

Question 8: What’s the difference between group and one-on-one coaching?

One-on-one coaching gives you fully tailored feedback, direct support, and personal accountability. This is perfect if you want deeper focus and a private space to grow. Group coaching brings community, shared learning, and the chance to grow alongside other writers. You’ll still get feedback and guidance, with the added bonus of connection and support. Both offer real progress and expert insight; the choice depends on how you like to learn.
